STRESS, ANXIETY, BLOOD PRESSURE, MIND and MEDITATION

I know this is going to be a bit tough to understand, but I will try my level best to keep it SIMPLE and in layman's term...

When we encounter a Stressor (i.e., things that cause us Stress) and Think or Feel that we are not able to handle the situation, we get Stressed....

The Hypothalamus in our Brain sense that as a "STRESS" and fires signals to Pituitary gland and the Sympathetic Nervous Systems to send signals for Adrenal glands to release the Stress Hormones (Cortisol and Adrenaline and Noradrenaline).  This is called the HPA Pathway or Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal Pathway.

The Adrenaline Hormone causes Fight or Flight Response.... Heart starts pumping more vigorously, heart rate goes high, blood vessels constricts ... As a result ... Blood Pressure Increases...

For example, there is a phenomenon called White Coat Hypertension / Syndromewhere a patient's feeling of STRESS / ANXIETY in a medical environment results in an abnormally high reading when their blood pressure is measured, but afterwards as the patient leaves the clinic and goes home, blood pressure returns to a normal level.

If we can control our MIND and the perception of STRESS by the Hypothalamus via GUIDED MEDITATION... WE CAN CONTROL our BLOOD PRESSURE even Better.

Advanced Guided Meditation changes the Response of Mind, Brain, and Body to the Stress and Stressors .... Easily and Effectively.  It changes the Perception of Chronic Stress by the Hypothalamus, thus there is more or less no signals to the Pituitary Gland or to the Adrenal Glands to release Stress Hormones... Thus, keeping our Blood Pressure in Control and Balanced.
